The music in the collection "Hakodate Experience" is slow electronic dub with discrete elements of recorded sound, suggesting audial environments. It mixes acoustic and electronic sound in sustained melodies that emphasize the distance between one element and the next. The effect is a study of music as rhythm in space. The piece that sets the mood of the collection is “Hakodate” a recording from a department store in Hakodate, Japan.
